Can steem be exploited

in #computers-bots8 years ago

Now I have been using steem for only a day or two. But I have been talking to other people that use steem and I believe that there is a huge exploit on the up-vote tool.

Now if you don't know what a bot net is, it is basically a group of computers that are being controlled by one computer. So basically if you had control of one all you have to do is use chrome on all of them, make a steem account and use the auto sign in feature on chrome. Then after that you have to code them to intake a link and up-vote it, then if they get money for up-voting it they will automatically send it to your wallet.

Now some of you may be asking if there is a fix to this exploit. The answers is yes, all steem would have to do is make a mobile authentication process to confirm each account is an actual person.

Now the point of this article is not to teach people how to exploit the system, but in hopes that steem will see this and fix it.
