My PC is finally mine after one year
This is a day worth celebrating so much, my beloved PC has finally cleared its monthly instalment which means the PC is now truly mine!
This lovely DIY desktop PC was built about one year ago and cost around SGD 2283(glad that I recorded that down). That was on a one full year of instalment plan with 0% interest which is why I rather cutting down the damage in smaller chunks than to hurt my wallet in one big blow.
This very machine is my best company to go through all the on and offline time. Writing content, editing videos, gaming, coding, so on and so on. Life wouldn't be the same without this PC. I made some pictures with spec listed as a celebration ceremony:
I always wanted to do a full system performance test and that was part of my plan even before complete building this rig. But you know, procrastinate hit me big time and nothing was done after a year of usage. I should find a weekend and clean the case up, tune the component a little bit and do the long-promised performance test.

It was under some promotion of zero interest monthly payment program. So the bank/card issuer paid it all for me in advance first. Thanks for popping by.

WTH bro give a remote high 5 there would you? ✋ That's the lovely card isn't it? I was just gonna ask you what GPU you have been using for your 3D game dev as it seems like a demanding software you were using.
Sadly the Deathadder was dead not long ago I got this rig, it served me well for 2+ years I guess. Still lived a way shorter life than my expectation tho.
well gamedev doesn't require much hardware, not unless you're making aaa games. i bought my gpu for fps games but i dont have much time to play these days 😥

Gotta give you another high 5. I bought the card for gaming initially, ended up I used it more for other purposes like video editing, casual mining and stuff like that. Picked up some big titles last Steam Sales like GTA5, Witcher3, and so on. I have most hours in the Dead Cells tho, a addictive 2D pixel platformer game which is not as demanding, ironically.
What are you playing currently?
dang i had my eye on deadcells at one point. i think it's great. i might even try it out. i'm not playing anything right now. a few months ago overwatch but that's a horrible game.. yuk..
Haha some said it was overrated. Man you gotta try Deadcells, addictive af. Remeber to get your controller ready first.
