Steemit Ultra Marathon – Game two – round four results

We have a change in the lead! @calatorulmiop has put on a burst to pass @len.george and take the lead heading into the last section of the course.

He peers at you through foggy glasses before carefully noting you number down. Yup. He's an Ultra spotter.

You fall flat on your face in the mud. It doesn't do any damage, but you feel like a right idiot.
3	@cstrimel Bib: 3	47.63kms	Gels: 3 Health: You passed through an aid station and this let you rest a bit, reducing your fatigue, You passed through an aid station and this replenished your supply of gels - adding 2, let you rest a bit, reducing your fatigue, Weird stuff happens on the trails You finally start to feel the runner's high. This carries you on and makes you feel so much better.

Other runners can be heard gagging as they run past your rock.
5	@zapasx Bib: 4	34.31kms	Gels: 1 Health: You passed through an aid station and this let you rest a bit, reducing your fatigue, Weird stuff happens on the trails Someone shouts at you 'You're doing great. It's all downhill from here'. Foolishly, you beleive them and pick up the pace a bit.
6	@kachee Bib: 2	DNF
7	@skymaiden Bib: 6	DNF

Commentary

@calatorulmiop is making his move, pushing hard up the Tip Track and is now leading the charge heading down towards the last aid station. @godofbit is hard on his heels however and is looking the stronger runner at this point. Will the champ take out another victory?

But don't forget @cstrimel - still looking very healthy at this stage of the race with the top of the Tip Track in sight. Those fresh legs might be just the thing to run down the runners in front as the battle for the finish line hots up.

@len.george is just starting up the Tip Track and he too still has pretty fresh legs, so the leaders will be looking over their shoulders as they pound their way down the trail.

@zapasx is nearly at the top of the Tip Track, still on his way down to Red Rocks and looking a bit shakey. He needs a good rest to get back into the game.

Runners

We are getting into the deciding section of the course. It's still anyone's race at this point and those all important health scores are going to be very critical in the next few turns.

Plan your strategy well.
