2nd Test
Starts Monday 4th September 2017

After yet another batting collapse by Australia in the 1st test match of the series, Bangladesh has claimed a historic first test win over the Aussies in what is sure to be a stinging blow to the pride of the baggy green. Critics of the Australians ongoing performance issues against spin bowling will be justified in putting the boot in after another terrible failure on the sub-continent.

With the series being only 2 test matches the best Australia can now hope for is a face saving victory in the 2nd test that will draw the series 1-1.

The big question for Australia is whether there will be any team changes for the test at Chittagong which is likely to be another spinners paradise? Perhaps Steven O'Keefe will get a recall to bring more experience to the spin department, but it is the batting which needs to be addressed and there are no easy answers. Australia is short of batsmen who play spin well. Beyond Smith, who failed in the first test, there is....umm.....

Someone send out an S.O.S. to Adam Voges perhaps? Get him on a plane!

Regardless of the team selected it is likely to be a question of whether Smith, Warner and a handful of lower order sloggers can get enough runs to defend a Bangladesh team who's star is rising.

Steemians - What are the INs and OUTs you think should be made to the Australian team before the 2nd Test? Will it make any difference?

If you can't play cricket for money, then writing about it for money is the next best thing. Well done @buggedout.

Thanks choogirl. Cricket is my bread and butter during the summer months. There's nothing better than getting paid to do something you love.
