What is Teh Tarik Sundays?

It is the FIRST talkshow initiated by @branlee87 and @zord189 with the support from #teammalaysia witness & lead, @bitrocker2020 exclusively for #teammalaysia members to gain exposure for their posts.

Why Teh Tarik? Because its what we Malaysians drink at a mamak stall when we hang out with friends. Here is what is going to happen on Sunday Nights :

Everyone is invited to join the Teh Tarik voice channel on Sundays at 10:00 pm.
Everyone is given a chance to promote a post.
You do not need to be the author of that post as you can promote your friend's post or a very interesting post for everyone to see.
During your sharing, the post promoted will be shared in the Kopitiam channel for everyone to see. You will also get extra exposure. Your post may even be rewarded.
Only the Moderators and Authors are allowed to speak in the voice channel. The listeners can and should engage in the Kopitiam Text Channel.

The Malaysian Guide

Teh Tarik - Directly translates into pulled tea. It is basically 'Hot Milk Tea' and the 'tarik', which means pulled gives the top of the milk tea some foam.

Kopitiam - 'kopi' which means coffee in Malay and 'tiam' which means shop in the Hokkien language. Kopitiam will be our text channel in discord.

We are BACK with the usual Teh Tarik Sundays recently and it was a very chill yet insightful one. Authors came on to share a lot on their initiatives and what they were involved in that it is very inspiring to hear budding projects progress. But before that! Teh Tarik Sundays was privileged to have the one and only @danieldoughty to HOST this episode with me. It is indeed my privilege to host this episode alongside the lead of the East Malaysia where its expanding very fast as well.

@branlee87 couldn't make it for this episode because he had to prepare himself for his NEW JOB the following day and needed the rest and preparation! YES! Congratulations @branlee87 for getting offered a job. I heard it's some pretty blockbuster stuff you'll be creating and #teammalaysia definitely miss you lots.

Well, this week was pretty insightful because we had @buzz.lightyear come on the show to share his progress on his up and coming Empower Coin. Few weeks ago, he had to pitch to 20 CEOs and just few days ago, he started a kickstarter campaign to fundraise this project. What is Empower Coin? In short, Empower rewards any household that contributes in producing renewable energy. You get paid in crypto. When I heard about it, I was ecstatic as to the potential it brings to not just Malaysia but the World.

After @buzz.lightyear shared his piece, @danieldoughty and I invited @roselifecoach to share about her workshop and specialty in Human Design. She shared quite a little about the various types of human design and how it affects one another. There is also an upcoming workshop on Human Design.

Lastly, we had a young chap, @bboyady come on the show to share his meetup with Team Sabah. As Team Sabah is expanding rapidly, they often hold meetups once a month at least. Everytime I read about their meetups I get really envious of how much of a 'family' they are together. I told @danieldoughty that one day, I would be able to join all of them :)

The moderators will dm you when it is your turn.

Each author will have a maximum time limit of 5 minutes only.
Post must be no older than 3 days old.
Slot registration works on a First Come First Serve Basis. Limited Slots Every Sunday.
Make sure you have a microphone.
