RE: How I Steem (Guidance for users who are struggling)

in #community8 years ago

This is one of these days when you manage to read my thoughts, arrange them and put them in a post that is well written and easy to understand.

I still can't say I have found my rhythm, although I have found consistency and the power to go on, as well as many openings for future projects and collaborations... I'm sure it's all going to work out

Similar thoughts have been going through my mind lately, like:

  • does this really need to be (so much hard) work?
  • are there different ways in which I can approach all this?
  • how can I help others more

Besides all that, I mainly vote on people who are lower in ranking/ SP than me (some exceptions are spiritualmax and you), so in a way I'm already helping out others but I feel there is a way to do so in a more fulfilling way.

I also try - to use your words - "balance between old friends and new users who could potentially be new friends"

This comment starts to sound a little random but you mainly showed me once again that I'm on the right path and that it's sometimes necessary - story of my life - to take some sideroads as well as to sit down and take a breather and talk to other passerbys.

I'm glad you're talking to me/ us. It's these little talks that stop me from turning around and walking away.

You are doing awesome. If it feels like too much work, make it more casual, change it up, do whatever to make your experience more fun. For me it helps to not be a perfectionist because otherwise it’s too tragic to see posts buried under new ones.

I don’t exclusively vote on “smaller” accounts, I’m happy to upvote anyone who is undervalued which is a good many of us. I’d just like to help more people become dolphins.

Don’t walk away! Bend this place to fit you!
