exactly the point @tristancarax... At least if people have the @dustsweeper, then the votes will not be wasted! :)
That is exactly the idea behind this. A helping hand to make it feel that a $0.01 vote is not worthless.
Does it work for comments as well?
Yes, comments are the main target as those normally receive a low number of votes.
