Episode 21: Off To The French Caribbean Islands
We leave the world of BVI Charter Boats behind and set sail for St Martin, one of the French Caribbean Islands that includes Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Barthélemy and French Guiana.
The island of St Martin is one of the most visited Caribbean islands for cruisers because of the duty free imports available for any boat parts needed. That also made for cheap provisioning so we immediately began by indulging in the cheap cheese and baguettes and went for a wander around Marigot Bay.
I also can't believe those prices as it is a steal compared to what we pay here in South Africa. The place looks beautiful and I could anchor up and spend months there.
