I Want to Get to Know YOU: If you could be a cartoon character for a day, which one would you choose to be?
Hi, how are you? Hope you are enjoying all that Steemit has to offer today.
I would like to get to know YOU (my fellow Steemians) better, so I am posting some icebreaker questions, which I hope will bring some interesting comments, conversations and new friends.
Today's question:
If you could be a cartoon character for a day, which one would you choose to be?
My Answer
I think I would choose She-ra so I can be strong and protect those that I love :)

I'm a pretty nervous guy, and he is phlegmatic :)
You always want the opposite.
That's very honest, you don't come across as nervous on Steemit :)

Maybe you could design a new cartoon character called Super Steemian :)
Thanks for your advice..👍😜
Brain. He always had ideas and never gave up.
I'm a bit like you, I have lots of ideas and I try not to give up on any of them, so I'm always all over the place. Although Steemit is the constant one at the moment :) (I lurk too much in the Fiction Workshop)
You don't need to lurk. Your comments have value. No more hiding in the shadows!!
Hello there! I'd like to be Yagami Light. He has the power to choose who lives and who dies!
You are really educating me with your answers. Had to look that one up :) Nice choice and reason.
Hi, @hopehuggs,
I grew up on comic books in the '50s and early '60s... I was particularly fond of superheroes, although I enjoyed all sorts of comics.
I've actually been disappointed to find that these days, comic books are slick-printed on glossy paper and cost an arm and a leg... Back in "my day," they cost a dime and (except for the covers) were printed on newsprint, same as today's newspaper "Sunday color funnies."
I'm actually going to have to cheat a bit, because there are two comic book characters that I admired above the rest. If I were going to be a comic character for a day, it would be a toss-up between Batman and Green Arrow.
Batman was a "super hero," not in terms of supra-normal powers, but in the way that he trained himself physically, and how he used his wealth to develop effective tools for crime fighting. He was a hero that a boy could truly look up to and aspire to one day be like.
Likewise, Green Arrow was a "normal human being" who trained himself in archery skills. He also developed a quiver full of high-tech arrows that he could select at will for special purpose uses; nets, bolos, zip-lines, etc.
Sure, I enjoyed Superman and Green Lantern and all of the "super powers" that they engaged... but I had the legitimate hope that I could in reality one day approach being able to match the abilities and exploits of one or the other of these two "super" heroes...
Thanks for asking!
😄😇😄

My four year old is convinced when she is older that she will turn into a superhero as she had a potion she made in the bath and it takes a little while to work. She wants to be Owlette from P J Masks!
Oh, I wish you great success in encouraging her imagination! :D
