Community member vs (Consumer vs producer) + 1 SBI giveaway

Seeking freedom from the past

For a much longer time than any of us can remember, you were either a content producer or a content consumer in completely separate ways. You can only be on one side of the wall at a time, either working or buying someone else's work.

This is the way set in stone because every individual has needed some kind of centralized distribution to get their hands on anything. From getting groceries at the market to sending letters, some steps of the journey were unskippable.

New tools for new trades

Nowadays you don't have to leave home to send text messages anymore, while you may even be able to order fresh vegetables from a nearby if you're lucky enough. Still, you're either selling or purchasing.

Online money has come in many forms as of late. Not just PayPal or cryptocurrencies, you could also notice yourself thinking some gift cards are often useful. You wouldn't quite pay it's estimated value dollar, but you appreciate having the option.

The sum is greater than it's parts

Knowing someone who could get a steady supply of Amazon gift cards they'd be willing to trade with you for something you own yourself would be delightful, wouldn't it? You'd give them value because they also value you.

Are you a part of any communities yet? If you're not, you'd better start looking. When you're looking to offer value to one, you become valuable yourself.

PHC all the way! But yea, I think I’m more a consumer probably. I try to produce good content but it takes me quite a while.

the powerhouse creatives community on steemit. It used to be called @steemitbloggers

Oh, I remember them!

Online money comes in many forms indeed, I find myself buying Amazon Gift Cards or use Purse.io instead quite often.

Purse looks great. Working towards 85 transactions bears some weight tho.

Being a member of a community is good. It can be tough to stay in one community when you need other help then what is being offered.

Diversifying what one spend’s time on can be a good way to stay involved in multiple communities.

Some things can be seen as assignments to complete in a community or activities to participate in.

I’m currently participating in the @actifit community, within @steemit, on a daily basis for the past few weeks or more.

It has been engaging and interesting to see the changes I make in my writing.

Communities make for effective learning environments and are fun to participate in when keeping the right mind set.

Exactly. Also being a part of a local community does bring bonus benefits when we can combine them together.
