Bye Bye HF19 And Welcome HF20!
TODAY IS THE DAY!
We've been expecting this hardfork for a long time and in less than 2 hours the HF20 will be here! Some of you are asking yourselves, What the hell the HF20 have to do with a flower? Well my dear steemians, this hardfork brings lots of changes and also new features. Nothing like a pretty flower to show new beginnings!
Some of you are expecting Steemit to break again like it happened a few days ago, I'm not clairvoyant but I think all will run smooth. This hardfork brings some changes I've been expecting for a long time, like the time period between comments will be reduced to 3 seconds. Right now, HF19, we have to wait 20 seconds to keep commenting but with HF20 you just have to wait 3 seconds!
The bandwidth will be replaced by Resource Credits (RCs) this is supposed to balance the costs of some actions like posting, commenting, voting. Also voting power or VP will be called Voting Mana... don't look at me, I'm not the one naming stuff! Oh, and the time to get your delegated SP back will be reduced from 7 days to 5 days YAY! FINALLY!! So, from now on you just have to wait 5 days to get your delegations back, How cool is that?!
There are lots of changes that will help everyone, also confuse a lot... but this changes are good for us and the blockchain. If you don't understand something just ask one of the witness, they don't bite! Also, keep an eye on @steemitblog posts for more info.

Do you know how long it will take?
Well, expect some turbulence for at least 7 days while all the changes take place and people get used to them. Also keep an eye in the RCs, (bandwidth) that will be a bit bumpy for some time too.

TrufflePigI'm still waiting for at least a week for a witness to answer a simple question, like what exactly did they mean in the ”self voting abuse”. I have to see more on that topic since it was far from clear. I think the mana name is confusing since I'm already a member of another place that calls it mana (not original).

Maybe by self voting abuse they mean the people who always upvote themselves at 100% in every single post they make. Also the mana term is used in many things like games, music bands, religion... I don't see any problem with it.
