I'm bad at explaining these type of things but here we go:
On your main page you'll find this:
After clicking on Explore communities, then you can find some communities you like and then subscribe to them:
Then you can write a post within the community by clicking on New post option below the Subsciption button.

it looks like when you post in a community, it also shows in your blog, no need to resteem it ;)
