RE: World Wide Web Communism

I just wanted to add my 2 cents here.
Before I do, I will just mention that I am definitely not on the Communism or Socialism side, and I feel that the whole idea of Capitalism for me is closer. More than that, I am rather on libertarian side of things.
However:

  1. China has seen a lot of instability in the past 160 years, as you have mentioned, however the communist movement by itself has became strong closer to the 1920s, with the May 4th movement; obviously it was largely influenced by the Revolution in Russia. My point being if we are talking about the past 160 years of Chinese history, then it is not only the Communist regime that is responsible for all the victims. Nor is it always the root of the problem.
  2. Over the past 100 years, the unexpected invasion of the spectrum of communism has created a force against nature and humanity, causing agony and an unlimited tragedy. It pushed civilization to the brink of destruction. It has become an extremely malicious force, which is against the universe.

Yeah, but that was the path of the humanity in general, not the Communism in particular. For instance, nuclear weapons were developed in the US and the UK, not in USSR, although yes, later on it did build an enormous nuclear weaponry; but then again, so did the US. Not to mention India, China, France, Iran, for example. If you dig further into another catastrophe: climate change, it has been kick-started with industrial development and rapid growth of population. And although yes, let's say communist countries do put bit input into global warming, but a lot of that input is merely coming from low-cost production for capitalist markets.

So having that said, I do get where you are going with all of that, however I wouldn't pin literally all bad things on the Communism and CCP as well.

On the other note, there is a really interesting book on topic called "Beware of Socialism" by Osho. He puts it into a very interesting perspective, and distinguishes evolutionary and revolutionary socialism, where evolutionary type is the next logical step after the capitalism gets to its final stage, more like the political system in Nordic countries; and revolutionary socialism - whatever happened in Russia and eventually other neighboring countries, in China, Korea, Cuba, Vietnam and so on.
I strongly recommend you to check it out because while I completely understand your sentiment about communism in relation with Romania and Ceausescu in particular, it is very important to understand where the borders lie.
Hope you have a great day there!
