• Officially, communism in Romania died in 1989. But its effects still feel, sometimes even very strong and painful - both those of a material nature, and especially the damage done to the Romanian consciousness - which are much harder to repair and with more subtle, devastating effects in the long run.

• Perhaps by reading these articles you will, like us, have the impression that they are extremely applicable to Romania. You may think, like us, that they are all of us who have lived under Communism and who have been influenced in one way or another by the evil communist doctrines.

• Many of those who have read them have noticed that in the depths of our minds the ghost of communism is still haunted. Many, like the ones in China, wanted to dissociate us from such an awful thing, and we wanted to make public the opposition to communism. If you want to do that, you can do it here, for you and your deceased relatives who have no chance.

• The translation and publication of these comments does not pursue vindictive actions. We seek to bring to light the historical truth and cleanse the minds of all of the poison and the lie of the communist doctrines. We also want to offer former members of communist organizations in Romania (PCR, UTC, etc.) the opportunity to decline their membership in these organizations.
