Meeting a Cool Celebrity
Met the rapper Common the other day. Pretty cool dude. It seems rare that you find artists of his level of fame that aren't pretentious assholes, so I found this moment worth sharing. Maybe that's just my own judgement.
He was backstage giving the crew fist bumps and saying thanks. It made me think that even the smallest gesture of appreciation and kindness can send ripples out into the world. Some people have the ability to make huge waves of positivity out there, and I am glad that those people exist.
