This...is..soooo..amazaing!! I love it... So cool you showed us a sketch, it really helps for thinking process of how you drew the sketch...

And I'm just reading about the Punic wars, and there were even Greeks helping Carthage in the war, so this post reminded me of that...

Yes, Rome was a threat to every civilization on the Mediterranean at that time (the first Punic War took place about 150 years after Socrates' death). Plus southern Italy and Sicily had numerous Greek colonies that went back to the 5th century BCE (or perhaps longer).
