Oh Canada! I Think I'm Into Cosplay..
This is Canadian cosplay legend Riki Lecotey, she also goes by the name "Riddle."
She models, designs her own costumes and also gets paid to attend Comicon events. Mrs. Lecotey is one of the most popular female cosplayers in the world for obvious reasons
She's 5 foot 1 but she's one of the biggest draws at any convention she attends. Riki has been participating in cosplay events for over a decade
She has a charitable foundation named "Cosplay for a Cause" that has so far raised over 50 thousand dollars for various charities.
The Canadian bombshell currently resides in Atlanta Georgia.
If you didn't know Cosplay stands for costume play. People that participate usually base their costumes off of popular super heroes or comic book characters.
The events draw huge crowds and they seem to get bigger every year.
With Halloween around the corner I thought maybe this would be a cool post. I had never heard about Riki until my wife showed me an Instagram picture of her and a quick Google search revealed..well it revealed quite a bit ok lol
While not being a very big comic book fan I do enjoy Super Hero movies, and who doesn't appreciate the creativity of people that design costumes like this..
I think I'd be up if any of my friends wanted to attend a cosplay or Comicon event. Although I don't know what I'd dress up as? Maybe Wolverine, he's a cool Canadian character. But enough about me

To be honest, I was never into comic books my entire life until just recently. I noticed that several of the tv series I enjoy watching were spawned from comic books like "Preacher" and "The Walking Dead" minus the last season which was garbage imho. Also, last spring, I noticed there was a new comic coming out about Darth Vader, my personal favorite all time villain. I decided, what the heck, I will try it out.
So far, I have really enjoyed the "Darth Vader" comics, but I have also started picking up other comics that look interesting to me. The best series I have read so far is "The Old Guard". It only consists of 6 books and is a quick read, but imo very entertaining.
As far as the cosplay stuff goes, it looks interesting to me but I don't know if I would ever partake. I was planning to check out a comic con going on in Dallas this weekend, but couldn't make it. I believe the big one is in the spring, so I'm going to do my best to make it to that one. It will be my first. Maybe once I actually have been exposed to cosplay it will change my opinion, guess we'll see.

Yeah she designs and makes them all herself I read. It's pretty much her career

I thought maybe this was the people of Canadian walmarts. But then I see its all the same girl, I guess it wouldn't be Canada without the maple syrup.
If everyone at Canadian Walmart's looked like this I'd be a repeat customer! Seems like a waste of maple syrup, it's not cheap u know?..although I wouldn't say anything to her about it..
I don't know man, looks like a pretty good use of maple syrup to me! :P
