Wow! I can actually remember having this comic in my collection, being brand new! :-)
I have a lot of old Web of Spider-Man’s in my collection. Never had this one, but had a ton from around the time Todd MacFarlane was drawing The Amazing Spider-Man.
Reminded me of the McFarlane days too. Isn't that McFarlanes all black spidey in the Marvel logo? Maybe not. But that is what I was thinking when I saw this.

And I had watched a video this past year on the topic of this that goes a little in depth on the reasons why this happened at all (based on newsstands and books that get returned), I don't remember the video touching on the black Spidey, but later today if I remember I want to re-watch this video to see if it does or just find this info somehow, I'm curious now.
