Everybody is somebody.

But, there are millions of nobody's (who keep the lights on and the water flowing) for every Nikola Tesla.

Not one in that sea of millions could replace Tesla, and for the most part, they are pretty much replaceable.

So, the important person is really important, that doesn't mean that the minions are nobody's.
