I’m talking about British porn star Tanya Tate! Now you would think a creepy piece of shit such as myself would have known who she was...but I didn’t. It took a toy community to introduce us. The Funko Pop community to be exact.
Ya see, it seems as though Tanya is a tremendous fan of the popular vinyl toy line. So much so that she posts video reviews of select pieces. That’s why it was a no brainer to send her a complimentary Pop of our Conquest Comics Exclusive piece we did years back.
Initially we sold these bad boys for just $19.99. It was limited to just 1500 pieces in the world along with 500 Glow in the Dark versions that we sold for $29.99. A combo 2 pack sold for $44.99. Today the Regular sells for between $150-$200 while the Glow fetches $500-$600. Not too shabby a return...
Upon release, we sent her a complimentary Regular White Phoenix Pop and she was kind enough to pop up a quick video review to help us promote it. When this initially came out, Pops were gaining in popularity but were nowhere near the level of insanity it’s reached recently. I’d like to think that her video persuaded a few folks to go ahead and make the purchase. Worst case...we got an adult film star to review our exclusive!!! How many of you can say that?!? 😂
We actually had the opportunity to chat with her a few minutes at one of the Funko Fundays events we attended together in San Diego shortly after release. She was super down to earth and we thanked her for the video and she thanked us for the piece. Overall, a fun experience that I thought I’d share with you today as it came up in conversation today with a customer. Check out her review below. Or...google her...with safe search off....

Nice little mention and plug of the store and the end of that clip. Tanya seems to have a bunch of Social Media sites in her arsenal, I wonder if she'd start using dTube for her reviews and bring some of her audience to the Steem blockchain
Yeah she was cool for agreeing to do that.I have some plans to try to get professionals from across various different avenues to try this place out. Still working on how to approach it but yeah....could do well here.
