Classics Illustrated Comic Books
At the shop we always seem to acquire tons of the old Classics Illustrated Comics. It seems any old collection we purchase has a chunk of these in it. While I think they are awesome...they just don’t sell well in our shop.
Superhero stuff is where it’s at for us. The Clasdics Illustrated comics just don’t have the big fan base that the superhero stuff does. Another problem with the CI’s are the fact that they did a gazillion reprints of each issue.
Regardless, they are pretty cool and a big part of comic book history. Some of these are in rough shape...some pretty decent. If anyone here has any interest in them, just comment here. I would sell them for some Steem for a phenomenal deal!!!
Wish I had the room :( I really like illustrated artwork. If I had these though I think I would try to digitize them so they could be read. Good luck selling them! They're beautiful!
Yeah I just wish there were more interest for these in our shop. Our customers really don’t care. Such a shame. Such an important part of comic history.
I have boxes of old comics from the 60s and maybe 50s. I should have them looked at,I just really don't know where to start!! To bad your store isn't closer!
Where are you located? I could always still help you out. It would take a bit more work on your end but if you spread the books out and took pics...say 10 or so per pic, I could go through and let you know if you have any gems there.
Wow thanks for your help! I'm getting ready to move soon, so I will be cleaning out my closet. Which is where there are stored for climate control. There's got to be at least one good one in there, my grandma was the best packrat ever! lol what platform could we use? or just email? Thanks again! Probably wont move for another month, so it won't be right away.

If however you do ever see this book anywhere, pick it up. Fetches a few bucks as for starters...what shop was ordering Alf this far into the series. Also...well...yeah.
I have a stack of these in my house that I really should read. They are very cool. I think the only ones I read when I was young were the Odyssey and the Iliad, because swords...

Yeah there are a bunch of differebt Classics Illustrated out there. I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never read a single one. Perhaps I should get on that....
