Comedy Open Mic - New Delegation Update!!!

We really are very lucky here with the #comedyopenmic contest. There is a lot of talent on steem and we can collectively, take credit for every discovery. This contest continues to thrive only through the collective efforts of the entire community pulling together, drawing in more talented comedians and many minnows just wanting to make others laugh with silly jokes, funny observations and cute pictures of cats falling over (we're only human after all).

It is thanks to the great content creators that the contest continues to draw attention from the rest of steem.

Over the past 7 weeks the contest has gotten quite a few generous donations from various people both in terms of SBD / Steem donations for prizes as well as SP delegations so that we are able to upvote entries with a community account that is not controlled by one person, but by a team of people. A little while ago the #comedyopenmic community banded together and raised some noise (as only clowns driving a beetle tooting their own horns can) and we were lucky enough to grab the attention of @roelandp (#sorrynotsorry for the tag) who was very generous and opted to delegate over 15,555.55SP to the @comedyopenmic account.

Additionally (and I might make him blush here) in the same fell swoop he delegated yet more SP to the @travelfeed team. He is such a generous man. Restores our faith in the whales.

We started out with 4 judges, this week we have 6 judges checking out the content, it's not an easy job. There is a lot of time spent reading through funny posts, leaving great comments, upvoting people who will become your friends, compiling a list and laughing some more. In addition to the judging, there is also the organizing of the contest and planning for its future as well as organizing our community. The people who thus far have given up a lot of their time are the judges and curators of the contest, listed below:
