I spent two incredible weeks in Armenia and was facinated by its beauty and remains of ancient culture. At every corner stone you see the reminders of a past millennium history...
The Bible reads: "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat" (Genesis 8:4). Ararat is the symbol of the salvation of humanity. Ararat is also Armenia's craddle. Mount Ararat has a height of 5165 meters.
The Ararat valley resembles an outspread carpet, delighting the eye with an amazing variety of colours.
It seems like another world.
