Sunny autumn, water reflection of a pond at small temple
This is a temple pond near my place in Nara,Japan. Some maple leaves floating on the pond and colorful trees are from water reflection.
As you know we have 4 seasons in Japan, so we can enjoy cherryblossoms, fresh greens, colored leaf, and white snow.
The temple name of this foto is Futaiji-temple(不退寺),Nara city. This is quite small temple compared with Todaiji-temple(東大寺) or Horyuji-temple(法隆寺)which are well known as old temple since 6-8 centuries when capital was in Nara prefecture, but there are many small, old temples which have national treasure like buddha statue, building or textiles. I took these fotos at the end of November, and I feel a little bit late to shoot perfect colored leaf... but there were still some red colored trees so I enjoyed this moment very much.
Kyoto is also well known as traditional culture or architecture, since then we can see so many travelars visiting Kyoto in these days. Nara is a bit more relaxed because it's located a bit contyside compared with Kyoto, but temples in Nara are older than Kyoto. So we can find this kind of temple such small, simple but beautiful atomosphere very easy around Nara-city.
