THE MYSTERY OF THE PURPLE PLANTS HAS BEEN SOLVED!

Thanks to @farmstead for identifying these purple plants. She told me that they are called, "PURPLE VISTA" SALVIA SPLENDENS. The purple part is the flowers...just like @molometer thought!
