📷 Colorchallenge MondayRED: Illuminated Jellyfish
These wobbly and jiggly Jelly Fish are what greeted us at our recent trip to our local Aquarium. While they are not originally red in colour, the were illuminated with red light to enhance their majestic transparent appearance. As beautiful as these creatures are, they are deadly and dangerous, and they multiply like you won’t believe!
Five Facts About Jelly Fish:
- Some of them can glow in the dark.
- If a jellyfish is cut in half, both halve regenerate to create two new organisms.
- They are brainless creatures.
- Sea creatures often mistake plastic packets for jelly fish.
- Some scientists say that jelly fish are in fact taking over the ocean.
Just a little trivia to accompany my submission to today’s #colorchallenge – MondayRED
