Color Challenge - Purple Sunday - Lilac and its remarkable properties

Purple, pink, blue, red, white, yellow - which only the colors did not reward its nature! And smell! You recognize him among thousands of others. The aroma of flowers rescues from agony, raises the mood, gives freshness to spirit and cheerfulness. This is a lilac, which grows almost in every way. However, not everyone knows that lilac is also a valuable medical and industrial plant.

The medicinal properties of lilac common are used in folk medicine for a very long time.

Even during the war, when there was not enough medicine, fresh, crushed leaves of lilac were tied to ulcers and wounds - the result was visible in several hours.

Lime contains essential oils, ascorbic acid, resins and flavonoids. May provide antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic and analgesic action. Medicinal raw materials are flowers, leaves and bark. The buds are harvested in the spring, inflorescences - during budding, leaves - in June, and bark is harvested from young branches. The raw material is harvested in dry, warm weather and dried in the shade, with good ventilation. Its curative properties are kept for 2 years. Store raw materials better in linen bags.
