Colour Challenge: Butterflies
What, again? Well, yes, but these are blue.
I went back to see if the silver-studded blues (Plebejus argus), heideblauwtjes in Dutch, were still there, and they were, sitting on heather, as they should:

The larvae of this butterfly attract the ants, of the genera Lasius and Formica, with secretions of the anal glands, the poor ants feed the larvae and protect them. It is a chemical control mechanism that I find very interesting and the butterfly is beautiful.
@miguelrv: I appreciate your statement. Can you recommend any source to read about more of this stuff? I am curious what do the ants get in return, or are they just getting "mind-controlled" by the secrets? :D
