Color Challenge Friday in Blue

in colorchallenge •  last year

So I've just moved from freezing cold Melbourne to my dream place in Far North Queensland. Today is Friday, and I'm having a fantastically lazy day crocheting my blanket for the occasional chilly night we get here (you jealous??? Sorry! -Not sorry :P) It occurred to me that Attlanticus, the name of the pattern I'm working on by a very talented designer Vanessa Fishcake Phillips, or Atty as those of us in the Hooked on Sunshine group are affectionately calling him has a lovely sky blue centre. As this is my first post, I figured, why not pop him on? 20117388_1611988488820937_1866666736_n.jpg

Gorgeous! I wish I could crochet. I'm all rugged up here in Perth WA

It's amazingly easy to learn these days with youtube tutorials! I hadn't even picked up a hook until January this year :D I'm a painter so the hook feels a bit like painting with yarn :) Fantastic on cold days

I never thought about watching YouTube to learn how to crochet. Cold days up here is ptetty much standard. Its the price I pay for crisp fresh air I suppose ;)
