Carved Halloween pumpkins for ColorChallenge - TuesdayOrange
Dear Steemies,
this morning I posted some pumpkin photos on Weku (See here: https://deals.weku.io/community-deals/@kalemandra/funny-pumpkin-faces-for-colorchallenge-tuesdayorange) that were taken some days ago. Well, I remembered to have more pumpkin photos from the last 10 years in my archives and I could easily find them. These big fruits bellow are edible - they are all 'Nagydobos' pumpkins (Nagydobos is in East-Hungary and famous for pumpkins that were even listed on the stock exchange in New York 90-100 years ago. Of course, pumpkins are very healthy and delicious. The beautiful orange color is due to beta carotene content. I frequently cook savoury pumpkin soup with nutmeg, pepper and chili.
These are classic carvings, made by children, with the help of their parents. Taken with Olympus E-410, edited in RawTherapee.

although my pee is not tradition to celebrate Halloween night, if we have excellent production of pumpkins with an exquisite flavor, either for sweets, cake, soup, cream, puree or simply in pieces.
