Colorchallenge - SundayPurple - A cauliflorous redbud tree
This is a redbud tree. Usually, flowers grow at the ends of the smaller branches and shoots of a tree. However, some species of trees, like redbuds, may be cauliflorous, which means that they grow flowers right out of the trunk! What an interesting look for a beautiful redbud.
