Mophead hydrangeas from the garden - Nature Photos
Today I learned that one type of hydrangeas in our garden is called mophead, for it's globe-shaped flowers.
Also, I learned that the leaves, roots, and flowers of this variety of hydrangeas are better at treating malaria than quinine. Who knew??

As a kid, I just used to call them the snowball flowers 😉
Maybe because they reminded me of Hostess Sno Balls.
Yummmm!
