ColorChallenge Purple Sunday - Lemon Thai Basil Flower
Daily color challenges open a great window to share some photos that don't always get to be seen.

Lemon Thai Basil is one of the signature herbs at the @gardenofeden.
In the spring the tiny seedlings sprout themselves wherever they want, sometimes as thick as grass!!!
As the season progresses, the plant puts out its flower stalks, giving sweet nectar to the bees throughout the garden. It's such a delight to take a walk through the lemon basil scented land, with living purple and bees a buzzing.
We take full advantage of this prolific, self-seeding herb.
We add it to our culinary dishes, flavor and activate our water, create summer drinks, herbal tea and smoke blends, natural medicines, eye pillows and drawer sachets, and even a simple yet impactful bouquet for our home and festival tables.
Nature always provides!! Again we receive the blessing!!

Tea is one of our summertime favs. Seems like we would do well in the kitchen together @progressivechef. So many great flavors to enjoy and expand in our experience.
That could really be an amazing idea to have something like this! An explosion of flavors for sure!
If we're going to do it, we've got to DO IT!!! An explosion, or mouthgasm as we call them, would be ideal!

There are so many layers of blessings in nature. I'm really grateful to have intimate communion with this plant. Lemon Thai Basil makes everything better!!

It is a summer crop and will die at the first freeze. Ours loves full sun and plenty of water.
