Here is my contribution for today's #ColorChallenge of #SundayPurple. I took a close up photo of a very small part of an original artwork I did quite a while back. I will post the full image soon along with this photo for a frame of reference in comparison. I think it will surprise you just how small of a section this image is contributing to the whole of the artwork. I love the purple and blue tones in contrast to the striking green in the eyes and thought this would be a Perfect addition to this day's Color Challenge!

I started this art by sketching in traditional Ink. After a rough sketch was in place I colored some portions with Sharpie Markers. After some spot coloring with the markers... I applied some spot coloring layers of wax-based PrismaColor colored pencil. I then applied some layers of traditional ink again to clean some of the line work. After that I came in and colored with Gel Ink Pens. I used metallic and non-metallic tones of Gel Ink. The Gel & Traditional Ink work is what is predominantly featured in this portion of the piece.
