Collaborative Art Journey #30 - Aspects of Existence
Hey guys here's my addition the Collaborative Art Journey #30. I have missed a few but as I'm trying to make art my number 1 priority this year (family... eating... sleeping... all come a distant second 😜) I've got stuck into this one with an abstract digital painting overlay. I was going to put process but the layers are kinda all over the place so it won't make sense 😕 🙃

Thanks @oliviajasmine. I love your line about turning anxiety into creativity! Very well said and that's often what I do when I'm feeling anxious, get out a pad and pencil and go into my zone :)

You really have quite an amazing skill when it comes to this collaboration @spaceginger. Your compositions, contrast, themes and layers always inspire me. This is another potent expression with lots of intrigue.

Thanks @everlove. I have really missed joining in! Yours was the first challenge I ever discovered and took part in and I love that it is for a good cause. I've been trying to start my own art challenges as I see how much fun it could be, such as my #SquiggleChallenge but they fail to create much of a following so I think I'll just dedicate my energy towards supporting challenges like yours and just enjoy the painting rather than get bogged down with hosting them.
Hosting them does open up a whole new level of responsibility, and takes some dedicated effort to get and keep it in flow. But I find it well worth the challenge. It took me some time to really get this one on the move and create a following. but it has been a valuable investment in the community. I've made some great friends here and am always excited by the gifts I receive through these contributions. (I like to receive them like personal gifts---lol!) I'll have to check out the SquiggleChallenge. I'm pretty busy running this CAJ and many of the workings at the @gardenofeden so I don't make as mu1ch art on Steemit as I wish. But I am fulfilled in my present inspirations, so for now, this is enough! I'm glad you found me and that you're still inspired to contribute. You have a great way with creation, and so glad you share it @spaceginger.

Yes! I totally agree! I generally try to do at least something every day. Some days I draw, some days I digital, some days I scribble a cartoon on a napkin lol. Today I'm working on digital painting big cats! Look forward to a lion or a leopard or something coming soon :)
that’s a good idea! I can’t say I manage every day, but if I go more than a few days without painting I can anxious and simply must paint something. I’ve had long bouts of artists block before and I don’t want it to happen again. Haha
I’m a total cat lady, so I look forward to it!
