Collaborative Art Journey #30! | The Regretful Sentient Robot Who USED to Want To Be Human...
Today I woke up feeling a bit frazzled, feeling behind on a few smaller projects, and having a bit of a tough time getting into the full-on work groove of 2018, I decided to defer the "adult-ing" to have a play at this week's Collaborative Art Journey! We jumped on a bus after coffee and eggs and set up shop in the back corner of my favorite coffee shop.
here we see @teamhumble with no shortage of ways to express his Snood-itude!
HUGE congrats to @everlove and the collaborative art community for hitting 30 collabs! Not something to be sniffed at! I couldn't help but jump in on this one so here's what I came up with partially this morning, and the rest after the caffeine kicked in at the shop.
;)
I really didn't know what I had set out to make when I started. I'm sure many of you can relate! When I opened up Photoshop the workspace that I had last been experimenting with had these herbal leaves so I figured that was a good a place to start as any, as I started to play and layed things out I started to see a little robot face emerge so I really started to lean into that- lol
So now I present you with a work entitled:
"NEWLY SENTIENT ROBOT, WHO, ON THE ASSIMILATION OF THE ENTIRETY OF THE HISTORY OF THE HUMAN RACE, DECIDES INSTEAD, TO STRIVE TO BE PLANT BASED. "
There's still time to jump in on this week's Collaborative Art Journey (you have until Jan 10th), so I SUPER encourage you to take part and let your brain have a bit of play time. I know it was super good for me :)
Until Next Time!

Thats a neat leafy robot!
Hehe thank you! ;)
I feel the same way. Just can't get my engines revved for 2018. Feel like I'm dragging my wagon. To much holiday and not enough routine. Tomorrow will be better...
Hope so! I gotta get into gear! Some new green tea has just arrived let's hope that helps!
YEAH! Opting for a plant-based approach sounds like a fine decision for a newly sentient machine....providing he can pull it off.
It might not be quite there yet but sticking a load of leaves to its head is a DAMN fine start
I mean, that's EXACTLY where i'd start! ;)
The title is everything I love it! I wish I could get out to a cafe, but we are basically snowed in where I am. I'll drink 'with friends' in my imagination today at a busy street side cafe in London or Paris...dream.
aww enjoy the lovely view of the snow though, and give the four legged friends a snuggle! I prefer animal company to most humans anyway ;)
I often choose the animal over the human as well :)
Some of my best conversations have been with animals ;)
You inspired me to try this and I have just done, only I don't know if I posted it correctly nor if I put it in the right spot. We shall see. :)
Aw YAY!!! So glad u did- going to check now ;) 💕
Oh what blessings @dayleeo! I feel the treat of participation from you, an awesome creation, and a cup of morning coffee from afar! Triple blessing! I really love the depths of this piece and how you transformed it with the touching contrast of nature! You're awesome. I thank you for coming out to play with us.
Hugs to you and @teamhumble - I love the Snood-itude!
