제가 생각하는 SegWit 도입률이 낮은 이유로는
- 마이너들이 SegWit tx 비율을 조절하는 것으로 의심되는 정황이 드러나고 있습니다. 과거에도 수수료 마켓을 위해 700kb대 수준의 블록 크기로 고정한 예가 있습니다. 예전에 간단하게 정리한 글을 참조해주세요.

(+인용)비트코인은 SegWit 이후 최초로 가장 큰 블록으로 추정되는 1.6MB 블록이 채굴되었습니다. 인도 마이너가 채굴한 블록인데요. 이로써 과거 1MB 근처의 블록들만 채굴되는 채굴연합의 단합이 의심된다고 언급드렸던 의혹이 더 깊어졌네요. 예전 스케일링 이슈를 증폭시키던 맴풀문제 당시 제외시키던 스팸 트랜잭션을 포함한 의혹도 있고 지금 제기되는 Segwit tx을 일부로 제외시키는 의혹까지 뒤가 많이 구리지요.

거래소에서 SegWit 도입을 하기 위해선 기존 주소를 SegWit으로 변환하는 작업을 진행해야됩니다. 특히 거래소에선 이 작업을 진행하기가 번거로울 수 있습니다. 일일이 기존 주소에 있던 BTC를 SegWit 주소로 옮겨야되고 입금주소도 전체 교체를 진행해야 됩니다. 복잡한 과정인지는 모르겠지만, 까다로운(라고 쓰고 '귀찮은' 이라 읽습니다) 작업임에는 분명합니다. 또한, 요즘 거래소들이 바쁘다(?)보니 거래소내 개발 인력이 스케일링쪽으로 빠지면서 많이 지연되지 않는가 싶습니다.
위와 같은 이유와 함께 거래소들이 당장의 시급성을 덜느끼다보니 아직 많은 주요 거래소들이 SegWit 도입을 미루고 있는듯 합니다. 최근 Bitfinex 거래소의 CEO도 원래 저번주 SegWit 도입할것이라고 언급했는데 지금 아무말이 없는 것을 보아 딜레이 된 듯 합니다. 지갑 서비스들은 그래도 어느정도 SegWit 지원을 해주고 있는 상황에 거래소 쪽은 진전이 많이 더딥니다. 아무래도 시간이 해결해 줄 것이라 보이지만 아쉬운건 사실입니다. 아직 국내 어느 거래소도 SegWit 주소 도입을 안한것으로 알고 있습니다.
