Crypto Companies Layoff List
This crypto winter has affected everyone in the crypto-space, more so the companies that are built on the industry. Over the past months, we've heard many news of startups and companies firing staffs for various reasons. And of course we have the recent 70% employee layoff on Steemit.inc. Throwing most of the updates we've been antipicating months even years down the line.
@coingecko is now tracking all the crypto companies and projects that underwent layoffs or has totally shutdown.

Very interesting statistics. The winter is going to cause much more pain to ICOs projects, especially those that didn't manage their funds prudently during the boom

In hindsight, the crypto hubris was indeed a dangerous thing. Thinking bitcoin and ETH (especially ETH since that's how most ICO probably got funded) won't drop was the downfall of most companies.
Well, at least there's Stablecoins now.

Crypto is a nascent industry. No doubt about that. There will always be bloody guttings of staffs like these as time goes by.
