Let's talk about getting @steem on Coinbase.
When we get coinbase to start trading steem, we first need to look at the accounts @coinbase and @coinbasepro. These accounts are going to be a big deciding factor in setting up a wallet for coinbase.inc. The company will want @coinbase and possibly @coinbasepro for good business reasons. The first thing I would look at when scoping out a wallet is what wallet options I have when using graphene type blockchain programs. As we all know a convenient feature with graphene is the easy and unique wallet names. It's in Coinbase.inc best interest to not lose a valued new customer due to an honest mistake. Take a look at the wallets transfers https://steemit.com/@coinbase/transfers its full of people transferring steem in on accident. Anyone know why people are transferring steem into @coinbase? One individual (@thisisbenbrick) received a refund, looks to me like the only transaction on the @coinbase account has made.
Unfortunately, @sam-bo is still trying to get back 836.173 STEEM he accidentally sent to @coinbase. ouch On a side note, @blocktrades if you haven't already could you add @coinbase to your blacklist of transfers? (till we get STEEM on @coinbase) to help out others.
While some would argue this is a great learning experience its not a good way to recruit one of the largest and most respectable crypto exchanges in the USA if someone else has the keys to @coinbase. So what can we do to help and who has what could be the most valuable account in the future?
So my question is:
- Who is in charge of the keys to @coinbase?
- The account @steemaddress is most likely the owner of @coinbasepro based on transfers in @coinbasepro. @steemaddress would you like to comment?
- @ned could you confirm or deny who owns the account @coinbase?
- Say we don't find the owner of @coinbase what are our options?
- The account was created (https://steemdb.com/block/480182) the same time @tombstone was interacting on the blockchain. Perchance @tombstone, did you see or know who was taking up some big crypto domain names at that time?

It would be great to see steem in coinbase. If this can be aplied to uphold or xapo it would be great too. Non US citizen have it dificult on coinbase.
It's hard crossing State lines when using a centralized app like coinbase. It is the number 1, in my opinion, place to safely buy Bitcoin in the USA. If crypto had a home name coinbase would be it. What do you think about the coinbase wallet?
I used it sometimes. It is easy to use, is a great wallet. The only problem is it has restrictions for user in some countries.
Steem being included in Coinbase would have a great positive impact in Steem. Maybe that´s the news we need to revert the trend in Steem price.

I love the anonymous aspect of crypto myself. But I have come to realize the ATM and OTC buying crypto is way to expensive and risky. I am not a big fan of leaving my crypto on exchanges so I moove it to more safer forms when I get a chance to. What do you think coinbase should do about setting up a wallet?

Negates the purpose of an exchange. If they have access to your keys as well as you. You don't have complete control. Buy then hodl some other way.
FYI I am still looking for a comment about who owns the @coinbase account or something that would help with coinbase on Steem.
The steem is our currency so to include it in coinbase is an achievement that undoubtedly brings great benefits. Our currency will take more popularity and growth.
