care of coffee plants after the harvest season.
Hi steemian
I came again with my cheery this morning in the coffee garden.
this year's harvest season is almost over. Coffee growers have to cut off unproductive twigs, so the *plants last longer.
done with a careful heart, because the coffee plant again issued flowers for future fruit candidates.
if we do not cut the coffee so thick it will impact the next season, less fruit.
I will set an example to all of us through the following picture I am practicing in my own garden.
*image before trimmed*
*image after trimmed* pruning my coffee plants do in twigs down to the tip of the leaves are not touched the ground, and we more easily in the fertilization of these plants (organic).
then pruning the uppermost branches, in order to open the space for light to enter into the closed because of the leaf lushes of the previous season. then trimmed with a way on the comb with the hands of a pinched branch or so forth. Although it seems bald, the coffee plant is getting better, as there will come new leaf and fruit candidates as well. 3 months later there will be changes in the coffee plant, the leaves will be more dense. flowers have become fruit, just waiting for the next harvest season. hopefully my experience adds insight to all of us in the steemian all on this platfom. my notification is only limited to my knowledge of my self-taught. hopefully useful for all. Thank you very much.
Really interesting science, I have a little coffee plant...
I will take care of it as you do, hopefully my coffee and you are more fertile...
