1.ARABICA
Arabica coffee is known for its sour coffee type which is not owned by Robusta coffee. Arabica also has a smooth texture, so it is more viscous in the mouth. Arabica coffee is also more bitter than Robusta coffee. Robusta coffee has a slightly rougher texture on the tongue, and it tastes sweeter like chocolate. Arabica coffee has a fragrance-like smell of mixing flowers and fruits, while Robusta Coffee has a distinctive sweet aroma.
Kopi arabika dikenal dengan jenis kopi bercita rasa asamnya yang tidak dimiliki oleh kopi robusta. Arabika juga memiliki tekstur yang halus, sehingga lebih kental di dalam mulut. Kopi arabika juga lebih pahit dari kopi Robusta. Kopi robusta memiliki tekstur yang sedikit lebih kasar di lidah, dan rasanya lebih manis seperti cokelat. 2.ROBUSTA
Robusta coffee comes from several species especially Canephora. Perhaps for that reason, the source of plant seeds for robusta is not called varieties but clones. In the market, robusta coffee is sold at a lower price than arabica. This causes disincentive to farmers. So to save production costs robusta farmers tend to ignore post-harvest handling. In turn will make the quality of coffee produced low. Robusta aroma is not as strong as arabica, with moderate to severe body thickness and flavor. Robusta caffeine content more than doubled arabica, which ranged from 1.7-4%.
Kopi robusta berasal dari beberapa spesies terutama Canephora. Mungkin karena alasan itu, sumber bibit tanaman untuk robusta tidak disebut varietas tetapi klon.
