PENTINGNYA KEBERADAAN BURUNG LIAR DI KEBUN KOPI
One of the characterize a healthy garden is the presence of wild bird around the garden. This not only applies to the coffee garden but to all the gardens type. The existence of wild bird is often considered trivial but it is a great influence to the world of agriculture, specially to coffee garden. Several species of crop that are developed by wild birds, such as forest peppers, fruits that have small seed such as guava and some other tree species. The existence of wild birds in coffee plants are very important, one of the benefits is as a natural pest control on coffee plants such as caterpillars that become pests of coffee plants.
Salah satu ciri khas kebun yang sehat adalah adanya burung liar yang bermukim di sekitar kebun, ini bukan hanya berlaku pada kebun kopi tapi pada semua kebun. Keberadaan burung ini sering di anggap sepele tapi punya pengaruh besar terhadap dunia pertanian. Tidak sedikit jenis ā jenis tanaman yang di kembangkan oleh burung, misalnya cabe hutan, buah ā buahan yang memiliki biji ā bijian kecil seperti buah jambu biji serta beberapa jenis pohon lainya. Keberadaan burung liar pada tanaman kopi sangatlah penting, salah satu manfaatnya adalah sebagai pengendali hama alamiah pada tanaman kopi seperti ulat ā ulat yang menjadi hama tanaman kopi.

People certainly will not be able to compete the birds in collecting carterpillar.
Semakin kurang jenis burung ā burung liar di kebun maka semakin berkembang hama berjenis ulat pada kebun tersebut. Logikanya satu ekor burung mungkin mampu memakan puluhan ulat per harinya kalikan saja dengan perkiraan burung liar di kebun, maka akan banyak ulat yang di makan oleh burung. manusia tentu kita tidak akan mampu bersaing dengan burung untuk urusan mengumpulkan ulat.
The wild birds around the garden are usually small birds. The existence of these small birds from year to year continue to be threatened due to hunting. The following are examples of wild birds that are often found around coffee gardens, especially in Dataran Tinggi Gayo Aceh Sumatera Indonesia. Some of them are endangered populations due to hunting.
Burung ā burung liar yang berada di sekitar kebun biasanya burung ā burung kecil. Keberadaan burung ā burung kecil ini dari tahun ke tahun terus terancam populasinya akibat perburuan. Berikut ini adalah contoh ā contoh burung liar yang sering di temukan di sekitar kebun kopi khususnya di dataran tinggi gayo ada yang berstatus terancam populasinya, hingga hampir punah akibat di buru.

Masalah utama terhadap perkembangan populasi burung saat ini adalah perburuan, dan jenis burung dalam postingan ini yang paling dicari oleh pecinta burung saat ini, seandainya saja pemerintah memberi perhatian terhadap kelestaeian burung-burung tersebut, sudah pasti akan berdampak positif pada pertumbuhan kopi Gayo.

Semenjak tahun 2013 saya sudah melarang orang-orang yang ingin menangkap burung dikebun saya, karena kicauan burung sangat indah di dengar saat pagi hari, namun walau demikian semakin hari kicaunnya semakin sedikit. šš
