Many a times i find myself in a very peculiar situation when it comes to Peel the Coconut. Coconut with a versarile nature and having multiple uses from food to cosmetics is a boon and considered as a medicinal fruit for many home remedies too.

A fruit with 3 layers is very usefull for many. The core contains the white fruit, which is covered with wooden cover and further protected with tight husk coir. It takes some experienced mind to cut open the Cocnut from within. When it comes to me, i use to Peel it using a Screw Driver, as i do not have any machine to cut/peel open the fruit.

The screw driver with the sgarp edge are inserted on tye husk surface , to make a way , and tear it apart with a splash of sounds.

One by one i keep inserting the srew driver to keep making a way into the wooden layer and removing the out hisk layer. Though it is covered with husk coir , but it takes a lot of strenth to peel ot apart. To make bit simpler, I keep removing tye outer layer one by one.

Finally after putting a bit of effort , i managed to tar the husk coir part to reach to the wooden layer. The layer which contains the coconut water inside. The husk layer have almost been removed from the out part, to give the Coconut a bald look.

Though this one in my hand looks like cery small from what it was original before peeling thusk coir layer. The wooden covered is very strong and can only be cracked open by hitting it bluntly. But wait.....

Inside the wodden layer contains the main White coconut fruit with the pious water called ** Coconut Water** so if you gonna hitting it bluntlt you may end up losing all the water.

To protext tye water, I tried to keep a bowl to pour all the water into it. It was pretty clear , the moment , the wooden layer gets cracked the water from inside atart leaking.

Hitting tye wooden layer slowly onto the floot, i manage to get inside the White fruit. All the water that came out were stored in the bowl. The White layer is food to havd it rawand tastes sweeter, whereas tye water too taste sweer.

Finally I manafe to Crack open the Cocnut manualy using lot of strenth and effort. Tye only effort that were put in was peeling the outer layer. Trust me ooening it with bare hands would take a toll on yoyr hands . Tearing open tye layer is power work, and without using any tool it is very hard to remove. Once the Husk Coir get romoved, it is only left with cracking the wooden layer to get the sweet fruit.

Well I am not experienced in peeling coconut,I use it ocassionally so that is the only way i find to crack open it. Hope you guys abd your own technique to open it......keep enjoy medicinal benefit of all time favourite Coconut. As in Fruit as in Dishes.
