The Taipei MRT 台北捷運 Táiběi Jiéyùn / Tairbeei Jyeyunn is a super clean (no eating or drinking allowed), very convenient (AFAIK all 108 stops have elevators for disabled people) and extremely safe metro system that transports 2.1 million people per day. I’ve never seen any vandals, drunkards, junkies, or violent people (exception: two recent stabbings by mentally unstable people in 21 years of operation).
