An Art Inspiration From Creative Galaxy - an Original Amazon Animation Series | 来自动画片的艺术启蒙

TV shows offered by Amazon Prime membership have been popular with my family. Although it has fewer choices compared to other main online TV providers, it is perfect for us since we only need kids TV for my six-and-half-year-old daughter and four-and-half-year-old son. Beside we also get free two-day shipping for a lot of merchandise as a prime member. What a deal!

My kids have enjoyed all Amazon Original kids animation TV shows including Tumble leaf, The stinky and dirty, Creative Galaxy, and Wishenpoof. My six-and-half-year-old daughter particularly loves Creative Galaxy to explore different possibilities of art.

目前，我们看的亚马逊自制的动画连续剧只有四部，其中一部偏科学工程教育（如何搭建通道将球运送到特定位置？），一部偏生活通识教育（彩虹形成的必要条件是什么？），还有一部是艺术基础教育，外加一部魔法片。女儿尤其钟爱艺术教育片Creative Galaxy - 创新宇宙。

Each episode of Creative Galaxy has two parts. The first part is animated where Arty, the main character, use art to fix real-life problems. And the other part is a video recording of kids experimenting with the art ideas mentioned in the first part.

创新宇宙中的每一集分两个部分，前半部分是动画片，主角Arty使用艺术手法来解决生活中遇到的难题，后半部分是拍摄的真实儿童艺术创作。

Today we watch the episode about painting with a base color. If you are not sure what to paint, just fill the canvas with one solid color which will unleash your imagination from there. In the first animated part, Arty started with a solid red color and then painted trees, leaves, and pumpkins which results in a beautiful fall-themed painting. While in the second part, two kids started with a purple base. And the base color reminds them of the sky in the night. So they continued with a blue to make a vivid night sky. They later decorated it with stars and planets to finish their masterpiece.

我们今天看的这集里，讲到使用一个基准色涂满整个画布，再进行创作的过程。Arty使用了红色，再在红色的基础上使用不同的颜色来创作了一幅关于秋天的画；而孩子们则用紫色作为基准色，最后创作了一幅宇宙的艺术品。

Inspired by this episode, we decided to paint a solar system for the poster we are working on. My son is really into solar system recently and he needs the poster in preschool as it is his “Star of the week”. We followed the show and started our painting with a purple base. And then, we added the sun, eight planets, and the moon too. My son also insisted to add a spaceship with a swing, so he can travel in the space to meet his little brother who lives on Mars. Hopefully, they have a nice trip.

受到这电视的启发，我们也开始了自己的创作。儿子的学校要求制作一张海报，以儿子为主题。儿子最近很迷太阳系。于是，我们也以紫色为基准色，最后绘制了整个太阳系。还添加了宇宙飞船，因为儿子说，弟弟在火星上，他和爸爸还有姐姐要开飞船去找弟弟。

In the end, we enjoyed by watching a nice show. But we had even more fun by experimenting the art ideas. I strongly recommend this show to all of you.

总之，毫无艺术训练的我，也能跟着这有趣的电视，跟随简单的艺术启蒙来制作和创作。同时高质量地陪伴孩子们，也培养了孩子们的艺术细胞。真是一举三得！自然，要强烈推荐给所有的爸爸妈妈们。
