We have a tendency to think that lower cost will give us lower service.
So they prefer the costliest one.
If i tell you about our perspective then you will be surprised to know the cost amount. Still rich crowd prefer to take the foreign treatment.
As Example,
In private sector it takes around 5 pounds to visit a famous dentist( having post graduation degrees from countries like UK, USA or Japan) and 75 pounds for root canal with capping for famous dentists and the average famous dentists takes 30 pounds. But people prefer the famous one because they think well decoration and higher cost are the determiner of a good dentist. Yet the outcome we get from both is always same.

A simple statistics

For coronary stenting it takes around 1000 pounds and for open heart surgery it takes about 1500 pounds in Bangladesh and success rate is around 99.5%
Whereas in USA if you do not have an insurance then it takes around 40000 to 50000 pounds and the success rate around 93 to 94% .
But still in our country rich crowd prefer the foreign service despite the success rate and cost.

Health sector is being health tourism right now, so people also have to bear the cost of tour they have met.

Health care is almost same in all over the world but still facilities and mind choice decide the rest.
