千层万级绕从峰，
条条曲线盘青带，
道道横缣幻彩虹，
疑是群螺出海底，
分明叠锦坠苍穹，
回眸欲辨归来路，
迎面天梯架九重。”

曾今有位诗人是这样描写位于桂林的金坑红瑶梯田的。

The Longji yao and zhuang ethnic terrace is the most famous terrace in the world. Terraces tier upon tier and surrounded by clouds, just like the ladder where you can climb to the heaven. You can never imagine their magnificence unless you are in them.

其实龙脊梯田只是一个统称，它包括龙脊寨(壮族)、平安寨(壮族)、中六寨(瑶族)、大寨(瑶族)、田头寨(瑶族)、小寨(瑶族)等若干村寨，我们去的是大寨金坑梯田风景区。

Actually, the Longji Terrace is a joint name; it majorly includes Longji village, Ping’an village, Zhongliu village, Da village, Tiantou village, Xiao village, among the villages, people in Longji and Pingan village are all belongs to the Zhuang ethnic group and others areYao ethnic group. Today we are going to the Jingkang Terrace scenic

去龙脊梯田游玩不建议自驾，从外大门上梯田要经过一段单车道盘山路，十分险峻，所以最好跟团去，这样可以坐着景区的大巴上梯田，相对来说更加安全。

If you’re going to the Longji Terrace, I strongly suggest you go after the tourists groups, because you need to pass through a long single zigzagging road, it is very dangerous, you’d better take the bus there since they are familiar with the roads, it is safer.

当我们来到梯田脚下的时候，抬头仰望，无疑这就是一个远离世俗的洞天福地，梯田最高海拔880米，最低380米，由于很高，导游给我们的建议是坐索道上去，步行下来，这样可以有更多的体力欣赏美丽的风景，如果选择全程步行的话，大概要走三个小时，当然如果年龄比较高的老人，可以选择往返索道。

Arriving at the foot of the terrace, and watching the terraces, it is definitely a perfect place for life. The height of the terraces ranges from 380 meters to 880 meters. Our guide suggests us take the single ropeway and walk back, this is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty. But if there are elders, it is better take a round ropeway. If you choose walk the whole way, it takes around 3 hours.

索道匀速的上升，龙脊梯田的全貌也慢慢浮现在我的眼前，这天天下了点小雨，微微有些雾气，使得梯田像是蒙上了一层面纱，透露着神秘和梦幻，看着那一个个层次感超强的梯田，感觉像是有排山倒海之气势向我汹涌铺面来，瞬间感觉我醉了，被这美景深深的陶醉了。

As the ropeway goes up, the whole landscape appears in our eyes. It is raining small, and there’s fog in the sky makes the terraces more mysterious. I have to admit I was drunk in it.

远望梯田既觉得错综复杂，又觉得清晰透明，一年四季不同季节梯田给我们都是不一样的感觉，因为我是四月份去的，当时的禾苗刚刚冒出个头，整个梯田充满了春的力量，勃勃生机，万物都已复苏，小小禾苗也都在茁壮的成长。

The terrace seems complex but clear, they show us different scene in different seasons. I went there in April, at that time, the seedlings just come out a little, and they make me feel that everything is full of vigor.

不知不中觉索道已经到达了山顶，也来到了梯田有名的景点之一——金佛顶，在这里可以俯瞰整个梯田的全貌，甚是壮观，而且由于有雾，整个人像是来到了天宫一样，俯瞰大地，同时在这里也品尝了梯田特色美食，竹筒饭，讲实话，味道一般般

Finally, we arrive at the mountaintop, the famous place of interest. Here, we can overlook the whole sight of Longji Terrace. Since there’s fog in the sky, we feel like we are in heaven. Meanwhile, we have the chance to taste the special food; they call it “Bamboo Rice”. To be honestly, I think it is just normal, not that special as known.

在下山的过程中先后又来到了西山韶乐和大界千层天梯，大界千层天梯可以看到层层的梯田就像是楼梯一样直冲云霄，站在西山韶乐上居高临下，俯视群雄，而我也深深体会到了梯田的层次感和韵律感。
On the way back, we visit another two places of interest, where you can feel the layering of the terraces.

美好的时光总是短暂的，当我来到山脚下再回首仰望梯田，依然被他的壮丽所折服，这就是劳动人民创造的奇迹，这就是大千世界留给我们的财富，龙脊梯田，你震撼到我们了。

Good times are always short, when I back to the foot of the mountain and watching the terraces, I still touched by its grand. This is a miracle created by humans; also, this is the wealth of the nature. Thank you, the Longji Terrace, you really impressed me.
