📸 2016双林寺中秋-3 (The End) | 2016 Mid-Autumn at Shuang Lin Temple - 3 (完毕) (by @ace108)
Other than Gardens by the Bay, one of the other place that has Mid-Autumn decoration is Shuang Lin Temple, Singapore. It’s not as convenient to get to compared to the Gardens. In this post, I start to share some of the photos I took there last year. The previous posts of this series is:

🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This Chinese song title sort of means “Moon shine of the city”. It’s a video I found from Youtube. I quite like this one personally.
🎶让大家继续读的时候，欣赏一点音乐。这首歌是许美静的《城里的月光》。视频是在Youtube找到的。我自己挺喜欢这首歌。
Outside the 2nd section | 第二段外面
This is going to the 2nd section of the temple.
这是走向双林寺的第２段。
2 lions dance here.
两头舞狮在这。
The lantern up there on the outside also very nice.
在外面这花灯可真美。
More of lion dance.
更多舞狮。
Let’s go further in.
再走进远一点。
The pagoda in the 3rd section is lighted in different colours now.
第三段的宝塔点着了不同颜色的灯光。
Oh deer?.
驯鹿?
Across the road outside the temple, there is a pond with this bigger lion dance display.
在路对面有个池的旁边。
Let’s take a closer look.
大家来看清楚一点。
Inside the temple | 寺内
Now follow me into the temple in the 2nd section. I rarely get a chance to go in at night.
现在，跟我进去这第二段的寺庙。我很少有机会晚上进去。
Lots of bonsai are planted in the temple.
这里栽种了很多盆栽。
Inside this temple, there are more lantern display.
在里面有更多的灯饰。
Here are some lotus flowers display.
这里是莲花灯饰。
Going further in. This temple is a longer stretch compared to the other two.
还可以再走进去。这段的寺庙比另外两段长。
I’m not sure how to appropriately describe this. Think of them as Chinese Fairies maybe.
仙女下凡?
Going out to go to the temple in the third area where the pagoda is located and the pagoda had changed colours.
出去了到第三段的观音殿。宝塔转色了。

Around the pagoda, there are more lanterns of the children's theme.
宝塔边沿也有小朋友的灯饰。
These 2 photos are taken from inside the temple hall at the 3rd section facing out.

Quite the elaborate and colorful display!
I always love bonsai trees!
The bonsai can very expensive but I think it needs patience to cultivate them.
