Here is a continuation of my post, "My Journey To Good English...."
I'll be writing on the books that I have read that helped my improvement. The book that I am writing about is my first book, the very first novel that I owned, the first book that made me realized how much I can learn just by reading, also, it is the first book that made me fell in love with reading.
The book is of course from one of the famous writers of children's book, Roald Dahl, and the title of the book is, 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Like I said before, this is the very first book that I owned, it was given to me as a birthday present by my eldest cousin when I was still in primary school.
The story revolves around a young boy named Charlie Bucket that came from a very poor family and Mr Willy Wonka, the most famous wondrous inventor in the world. The story has a lot of moral values hidden within its story lines. Those moral values also helped me to grow as a person.
But most importantly, I strongly recommend this book to the people out there because the words used by the writer, Roald Dahl, are not considered very simple english (I'll admit) but, these words are commonly used between english speakers. I hope this book can help people out there that are trying to learn english because it did help me.
这本故事书是我表哥送给我的生日礼物。那时我还在读小学三年级，书名是 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ！
