They just have too much today, too many things, although it is my fault to support this by buying every sh*t they want.
I remember, when my kids were younger, we have made a bow and arrows from tree branches we have cut ourself. They had so much fun playing with it ...
Yes I remember making arrows and bows from sticks and strings, I must admit I do spoil our grandkids as well, but try not always so successfully to get hem outside to play sometimes
My daughter hates to go outside and my son loves to go outside, but only when he can ride on his motorbike when the weather is fine.
They are both 16 1/2 and twins, but pretty different from each other, and I hope this puberty time will go over soon - but I was not much different from them when I was in their age though ;)
I am sure I was a nightmare to my parents at that age, I was seldom home other than to sleep, out running playing sport and riding my Motorbike on the off road trails, but since my Kids are all in the thirties now I can tell you it does pass :)
I know, I deserve this, because I was the same, and now I can understand my parents, because my son is so much like me that I know it will get even worse than now, before it will get better one day ... ;)
Of course, but we all have been happy with what we had then, more or less ;)
Ohh yes indeed, and in a lot of ways I think getting out and doing things without gadgets was better than all the things kids have these days
